Writing a blog is one of the last things i thought i would be doing. I don’t write well, and yet here i am. If you are hoping to read something hella proper this aint it. I write like I talk and if that’s not your vibe no hay pedo.

Tu Hermana La Gordota is about my life as a fat brown woman navigating in a world that is misogynistic, fatphobic and racist.

Fat people are often dehumanized and hated on for simply existing. Throw in Browness and otherness and it becomes an oppressors biggest hard-on.

This blog is for the my Latines navigating in a fat body where you can find acceptance for who you are.
